Welcome to the East Anglia Guitar Festival website. 2010 sees the first year of the festival with some of the biggest names in the guitar world on board. Special offer: 2 tickets for the price of 1. Call the box office or book online via paypal.
The festival will have a broad appeal with a wide range of styles, lots of live performances, various workshops and masterclasses. Highlights of the festival will be filmed and recorded for showing after the event. Guitar manufacturers will also be on hand to exhibit and give advice and tips on the safe care of the guitar.
Performances - Great live music throughout the day and a fantastic evening show featuring top guitarists & guitar based performers.
Workshops - With help and advice on its particular subject, workshops featured include; guitar techniques, setup and even manufacture. Free on the day, no pre booking required.

Phil Hilborne
For the past 18 years Phil has been part of Iron Maiden drummer, Nicko McBrain's, touring clinic band and has done many successful gigs/tours with him including his 'Rhythms Of The Beast' and 'Return Of The Beast' tours. Since 2002 Phil has regularly performed in the hugely successful Queen/Ben Elton musical 'We Will Rock You' at the Dominion Theatre in London's West End.
Phil has performed at the show with Brian May on several occasions.
Clive Caroll
Clive Carroll was described by Acoustic Guitar magazine as ‘Probably the best and most original young acoustic guitar player and composer in Britain’.
In 1998, he gained a 1st Class Honours Degree in Composition & Guitar from Trinity College, London and whilst there he won a prize to record Rodrigo's 'Concierto de Aranjuez' with the Trinity orchestra, the John Halford Prize for Composition (1994), Gladys Puttick Memorial Prize for Extemporisation (‘94,’98), Ivor Mairants Guitar Award (1997), Montagu Cleeve Prize for Guitar (1998) and the Essex Young Musician of the Year (1999).

Ken Nicol
Ken Nicol is a guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer from Preston, in England. His music covers the spectrum from blues to rock, and effortlessly takes in folk, jazz, ragtime, ballads and more along the way. Ken was a member of the legendary Albion Band until September 2001 when he left in order to spend more time on solo projects. In December 2002, he joined forces with Steeleye Span, and has continued working with the band since; recording two albums: 'They Called Her Babylon' & 'Winter', and touring extensively through 2004 on their 35th Anniversary World Tour.
Ken Nicol is one of the great masters of the guitar.
